We will schedule your appointment as promptly as possible. If you have pain or an emergency situation, and you are an existing patient, every attempt will be made to schedule you for that day.
What to Expect on Your First Visit
You should expect your first office visit to take at least on hour. Your initial visit will be comprised of a comprehensive examination by Dr. Gallen. At that time a full set of mouth x-rays and digital photos will be also be taken. The exam will include an analysis of your overall dentition (condition of your teeth) for existing restorations, active decay and occlusal wear. Dr. Gallen will also examine the tissues surrounding the teeth for any early signs of periodontal disease. She will also do a complete oral cancer screening. After the exam, Dr. Gallen will review her findings with you and be able to recommend any restorative or cosmetic procedures you may need. After a plan of action has been determined, we will provide you with the estimates of the proposed dental procedures.
